Shipping FAQ

Can I do a rush order? if you need your order in a rush, please contact us and let us know, and choose the fastest shipping option and we will prioritize your order.

What are your shipping options? For domestic orders, we offer three Canada Post Shipping options: Free regular un-tracked mail, plus discounted expedited and express shipping with tracking.

How long does it take to process orders? Our handling and processing time is typically within 3 to 5 business days from the purchase date, often sooner. Note that we are closed on weekends and stat holidays, as is Canada Post.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

We offer various shipping options with various delivery times. Prices and delivery details are shown at checkout. Processing typically takes 3-5 business days. Our shipments originate from Courtenay, BC, Canada. For international orders, allow extra time for customs.

What's the estimated delivery time?

We offer a range of shipping options with corresponding estimated delivery times, all of which can be viewed during the checkout process on our online store. Please keep in mind that delivery times may vary depending on the shipping method selected and the destination of the delivery.

Where is my order?

Please allow at least a week after receiving the shipping notification before inquiring about delivery times. Tracking numbers are provided for express or expedited shipping. Please allow extra time during holidays, black Fridays, and sales events. 

Return & Exchange FAQ

What items can be returned or exchanged? Unworn items in new condition are eligible for a full refund, exchange, or credit within 30 days of purchase.

What happens if I return items after 30 days? Items may be eligible for credit, and will be considered on an individual basis. please contact us to discuss.

Who covers the shipping costs for returns or exchanges? Customers are responsible for return and exchange shipping costs, allowing the use of their preferred shipping method.

Are worn or used items eligible for refunds or exchanges? Worn or used items are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.

 

Defects and Gold Plating FAQ

What's the policy regarding defects? We ensure items are free from manufacturer defects and replace defective items at no cost. Contact us at info@joiedesigns.ca to make arrangements.

What about gold plating issues? Gold plating can fade or tarnish over time due to rough exposure. Re-plating is available for a fee, dependent on the piece's size. Note that re-plating might take several weeks as it's done externally.

 

Lost and Single Earring FAQ

I lost one earring. Can I order a replacement? Most of our earrings offer versatile options for replacements. You can repurpose the remaining earring by converting it into a pendant simply by adding it to a chain. Alternatively, if the single earring is in stock, we offer individual purchases to help you complete your pair again.

How can I repurpose my single earring into a necklace? To transform a single earring into a necklace, easily attach it to a chain, creating a stylish and unique pendant to match your style.

Can I purchase a single earring if I've lost one from a pair? Certainly! If available, we offer individual sales of single earrings, allowing you to replace the lost piece and restore your pair.

What should I do if the single earring I need is out of stock? If the specific single earring you require is currently out of stock, please reach out to our customer service. We'll do our best to assist you or provide alternative solutions to meet your needs.

Do all earring designs have the option for single purchase? While many of our earring designs are available for individual purchase, availability may vary based on the specific style and stock at the time of your inquiry.

 

Custom Jewelry and Necklace Chain Size FAQ

Do you create custom jewelry designs? While we offer our existing designs in solid gold as custom orders, we do not provide full custom design services. However, we highly recommend Leanne at Burns and Forge for exceptional custom work.

Can I request a different necklace chain size with my pendant? Absolutely! Our pendants come with standard chain lengths of 16", 18", 20", and 22". We also offer chain upgrades to longer lengths of 28" and 30" for additional purchase. Additionally, we sell 2" extenders, providing versatility in adjusting necklace lengths.

What if I want a necklace length not listed in the options? If you require a necklace length outside our standard offerings, please contact our customer service. While we primarily offer specific lengths, we'll do our best to accommodate your request or provide suitable alternatives.

How can I request a longer chain length for my necklace? During your purchase, you can select the desired chain length for your pendant from the available options. You may upgrade to a 28" or 30" chain or add an extender, these are also available for purchase on our website.
